Welcome to RediscoverPC, we are web site designers and software developers helping you to create your impression on the web.

We offers SEO solutions to make your website rank high on major search engines. The optimization techniques include the following variables:-

Keyword density

Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or keyword phrase is found in your page content amidst all the other content. For example, if you have a Web page with exactly 100 words on it including all headlines, captions, alt text, and advertising, and you have a keyword phrase that is on the page 3 times, your keyword density is 3%: # of repeats of the keyword / total number of words on the page * 100 = Keyword Density.

Keyword density applies to the page as it displays live on your website. Many people will create content with a high keyword density and then place it on their website with a lot of navigation, images, and advertising content and their actual density will go down. There is no hard and fast rule for what your keyword density should be. But too little and it won't be clear to search engines what the page is about and too much and it will look like you're trying to spam them. Plus, the more times you repeat a keyword phrase the more the page won't be palatable to your readers.

Don't let keyword density rule your Web writing. If your page has a very low keyword density, but it's well written and clear, you'll get as many readers as you would with a more SEO focused articles. Call us to help you, call now at 1-800-571-0421.

Internal Meta-Tags

A meta tag is a tag (that is, a coding statement) in the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) that describes some aspect of the contents of a Web page. The information that you provide in a meta tag is used by search engines to index a page so that someone searching for the kind of information the page contains will be able to find it. The meta tag is placed near the top of the HTML in a Web page as part of the heading.

There are several kinds of meta tags, but the most important for search engine indexing are the keywords meta tag and the description meta tag. The keywords meta tag lists the words or phrases that best describe the contents of the page. The description meta tag includes a brief one- or two-sentence description of the page. Both the keywords and the description are used by search engines in adding a page to their index. Some search engines also use the description to show the searcher a summary of the page's contents.

Although most search engines also use the contents of a page as a way to determine how to index it, the creator of a Web page should be sure to include meta tags with appropriate keywords and description. Well-written meta tags can help make the page rank higher in search results.

Search engines are still one of the most important traffic drivers to sites these days, which is why Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is incredibly important. While SEO is often thought to be just a set of some technical tricks – and as a professional SEO, We confess to spending a lot of time with clients fixing technical issues – the site structure is just as important. Your site’s structure determines whether a search engine understands what the topic of your site is and how easily it will find and index content relevant to your site’s purpose and intent.

By creating a good structure, you can use the content you’ve written that has attracted links from others, and use your site’s structure to spread some of that “linkjuice” to the other pages on your site. On a commercial site, that means that you can use the quality content you’ve written to boost the search engine rankings of your sales pages too. Did we get your attention now? Ok, now we’ve covered what and why, let’s get on to how.

When developing a new site, or restructuring an existing one, it helps to draw out your site’s structure in something like Visio, or even putting it in Excel. What you’ll want to do is put all the pages and sections in there as a tree, something like that shown in Figure 1 (based on our own old site structure):
st1

Now as you can see this structure is unbalanced, as the Code section constitutes more than half of the entire site. You should make sure your site structure looks like a reasonably balanced pyramid. We’d advise you to have something between 2 and 7 main sections, depending on how content heavy your site is, and no section should be more than twice as large as any other section.

As well as the code section being way too big, there’s another couple of points to consider about Figure 1. First, there are three pages that are basically about me: “About Me”, “Projects” and “Websites”. In addition, upon checking out our site statistics we found that the WordPress pages were responsible for about 30% of our site traffic, yet they were down on the third and fourth level.

The benefit of using a tool like Visio or OmniGraffle, as we did, is that it’s quite easy to rearrange stuff, and it’s easy to get a good “feel” for whether the new structure is going to work. we’ve often used a desk or a wall and a lot of post-it notes for this purpose too, and that has also worked fine for me.

So what are you waiting for call us and get your site structured correctly for it to function effectively. Speak to one of our tech reps at 1-800-571-0421

5 Tips For Search Engine Friendly Content.

1. Keyword Balance

While keyword use is important, it is also something that can be over done. When you use keywords within your writing don’t overuse them to the point that the text reads in an unnatural way. This is known as keyword overloading and it will actually have an inverse effect on your page’s search ranking. Spreading keywords strategically throughout your content and finding a healthy balance of keyword density is critical for promoting better SEO.

2. Meta Descriptions

Meta descriptions are a small summary of your content that search engines utilize to accompany the link to your page in search results. Utilizing keywords within meta descriptions allows readers to quickly understand the content’s topic.

3. Page URLs

In a similar fashion to the way in which you implement keywords in meta descriptions, doing so in page URLs also impacts SEO. Having page URLs that offer an indication of the page’s topic or focus allows search engine crawlers to gauge your page’s relevance.
A URL that does a good job of reflecting a page’s content improves SEO, while an irrelevant or inaccurate URL has a negative impact. For instance, using the keyword “luxury hotels” in the URL for a page promoting discount motels is misleading. This type of misdirection will cause search engines to discredit your content and rank it poorly.

4. Link to Relevant Sources

Including links to the sources you used in creating a piece of content will also have a positive impact on its SEO, according to Bit Rebels. In the eyes of Google’s page crawlers, these links increase the relevance and value of your content. Referencing accepted authorities in your industry, linking to articles offering further information and citing your sources are all methods to take advantage of this SEO factor. Also, these links offer more information and value to your readers, increasing the likelihood that your content will be read and shared with other individuals.

5. Write Quality Content

While the aforementioned techniques represent important steps for promoting SEO, their impact relies on having a quality piece of content in the first place. Writing content that grabs your reader’s attention and offers them value is the most powerful SEO tool you have in your arsenal as a writer.
While search engines take the details from the first four steps into consideration, the most important factor that will decide your content’s ranking is its relevance. Creating content that is well written based upon research and interesting to readers will prompt other sites to link to your page. For example, if you’re a blog or website for home owners, you might feature an article on gas monitors. It’s okay to use specific keywords such as, RKI single gas monitor, in your content as long as you have a lot of it and it’s well written.
Managing to have authoritative and well-respected websites link to your page is perhaps the most important factor in deciding whether or not a piece of content will rank highly. In order to encourage other sites to link to your page you must create content that is interesting, informative and relevant to its intended audience.

Link Popularity Campaigns

Link Popularity means how well recognized you are, on the internet. In other words, the more the quality links you have with your website, the more popular and credible your website is. The algorithm of the 3 main search engines-Google, Yahoo and MSN, give high weightage to quality back links which are built, by incorporating a good Link Building campaign. Both, the quantity and quality of these back link sites also helps in increasing the Google Page Rank (PR), which is a measure of how significant your website is.

Types of Link Building

One-way links

When a person links his website to yours without asking for a link in return, then it is known as a One Way Link. These links are the best way to have inbound links without giving out or trading links from your site to outside sites, as they do not look like a reciprocal link exchange. These give the appearance of natural link building process and are the best way to increase the link popularity of the site by getting relevant links for the site.

Reciprocal links

This link building process is reciprocal in nature, somewhat like a give and take deal and is therefore, also known as a Two-way link building process. In this process, when a website A gives a link to website B, then website B gives a link to website A, in return. Though, one way links are the great option for increasing link popularity of a site, Reciprocal links are a good option too, in terms of there low costs and effective and inexpensive services, yielding to economical results. If used in a balanced and systematic manner, Reciprocal link exchange can help in promoting your website, product, or services, effectively and efficiently.

On-line Competitor Analysis?

An online competitor analysis is a survey of what your competitors are doing online. It is a grade of their website, it’s a measurement of their effectiveness online, it’s research into how much they are spending for advertising, and it’s a way of comparing your metrics to theirs. In short, it helps you to make sure you’re better than them online (if you’re willing to spend the time and money!).

There are many ways to do an online competitor analysis, and several useful tools do help you do the job. Information is key, so being informed about as much as possible with regards to your site is very useful! Here are several metrics to look at:

# Find out a competitors search rank for their pages and overall estimated monthly traffic along with statistics about who is visiting their site and what demographics they are in (you should also do this for your site).
# Get your website (and competitor websites) graded on a standard marketing scale (there are several tools to do this that I’ll list below).
# Learn your competitors paid search budget, organic rank, and ad variations. See how much they’re spending, and make a choice to outspend them if you can get a return on investment!

Actually, if we were to break it out…you should do an analysis of YOUR website first…and then compare those results to others in your field. Some tools allow you to compare sites right within the tool, so you can see how you measure up right away without having to amalgamate data.

Inclusion of Robots Instruction File

The Robot Exclusion Standard, also known as the Robots Exclusion Protocol or robots.txt protocol, is a convention to prevent cooperating web spiders and other web robots from accessing all or part of a website which is otherwise publicly viewable. Robots are often used by search engines to categorize and archive web sites, or by webmasters to proofread source code. The standard is unrelated to, but can be used in conjunction with, Sitemaps, a robot inclusion standard for websites.

About the standard

If a site owner wishes to give instructions to web robots they must place a text file called robots.txt in the root of the web site hierarchy (e.g. www.example.com/robots.txt). This text file should contain the instructions in a specific format (see examples below). Robots that choose to follow the instructions try to fetch this file and read the instructions before fetching any other file from the web site. If this file doesn't exist web robots assume that the web owner wishes to provide no specific instructions.

A robots.txt file on a website will function as a request that specified robots ignore specified files or directories in their search. This might be, for example, out of a preference for privacy from search engine results, or the belief that the content of the selected directories might be misleading or irrelevant to the categorization of the site as a whole, or out of a desire that an application only operate on certain data.

For websites with multiple subdomains, each subdomain must have its own robots.txt file. If example.com had a robots.txt file but a.example.com did not, the rules that would apply for example.com would not apply to a.example.com.

Search Engine Sitemaps

A sitemap is a file where you can list the web pages of your site to tell Google and other search engines about the organization of your site content. Search engine web crawlers like Googlebot read this file to more intelligently crawl your site.

Ideally, if your site’s pages are properly linked, our web crawlers can usually discover most of your site. Even so, a sitemap is a helpful tool that can improve the crawling of your site, particularly if your site meets one of the following criteria:

* Your site is really large. As a result, it’s more likely Google web crawlers might overlook crawling some of your new or recently updated pages.

* Your site has a large archive of content pages that are isolated or well not linked to each other. If you site pages do not naturally reference each other, you can list them in a sitemap to ensure that Google does not overlook some of your pages.

* Your site is new and has few external links to it. Googlebot and other web crawlers crawl the web by following links from one page to another. As a result, Google might not discover your pages if no other sites link to them.

* Your site uses rich media content, is shown in Google News, or uses other sitemaps-compatible annotations. Google can take additional information from sitemaps into account for search, where appropriate.

Manual Submission to High Pagerank Directories

As we know manual directory submission is the best option to drive traffic as well as SEO juice, there are certain points to be checked before starting with this process;

1. How old is the directory submission site?
2. What is the Pagerank of the directory submission? Higher the PR, better is the result.
3. If it free of charge or paid one. Free ones are better than paid ones.
4. No. of incoming link to the directory submission site.
